ahead of a major rebrand of the medtronic twin cities marathon, i created an interim brand to promote early registration for the 2025 running of the event. using the unreleased new color palette, i created a simple, bold leaf and word mark reminiscent of the beloved brand. in addition to the type treatment, i created various custom type treatments, leaf patterning, and digital ads. to expand the brand, and increase revenue, i was tasked with creating custom "running start registration" exclusive merchandise and a vintage-inspired running leaf mascot badge with the tagline "the most beautiful urban marathon in america" to be used for various promotions.
